Early this morning, I got a text from Nadere, our friend in Haiti. He wrote, "The situation in Haiti is very bad. Help me pray for Haiti."
Haiti is in turmoil. At 10:00am ET mass demonstrations are planned. The Haitians are calling it, "Mobilizasyon san Limit," or "Unlimited Mobilization."
Fervently pray with us that these mass demonstrations will not become violent.
There is already too much suffering from the "country lock-down" these past two weeks.
"Confuse the wicked, O Lord, confound their speech,
for I see violence and strife in the city.
Day and night they prowl about on its walls;
malice and abuse are within it.
Destructive forces are at work in the city;
threats ans lies never leave its streets.
If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it;
if a foe were raising himself against me, I could hide from him.
But it is you, a man like myself,
my companion, my close friend."
-Psalms 55:9-13
We desperately need God's intervention. Help me, help Nader pray for Haiti!
